DO YOU BELIEVE THAT GOD IS CALLING YOU TO MINISTRY?

Below are the steps and information in seeking ordination in the Church of God:

It is a wonderful experience to sense the call of God into ministry.  However, you may feel overwhelmed and lost when it comes to the “how” I go about seeking the training and recognition of this call.  Please read carefully the following steps.

1. Talk with you pastor regarding your call asking him/her to pray with you so that you can discern God’s will regarding the call.
2. Send an email to Pastor Jim Todd (jim@kycog.org) with the following information so that he can forward this on to the Credentials Team.
   • Your desire to pursue credentialing within the Church of God.
   • Your testimony of salvation and call.
   • Information about where you worship and serve.
3. Pastor Jim will coordinate a time for you to come and meet with the Credentials Team. They meet once a quarter.

After you meet with the Credentials Team, you will be notified of the next steps.  Kentucky Church of God Ministries participates with our national church in using Leadership Focus as our training program.  Please go to www.jesusisthesubject.org/leadership-focus/ for more information on this program.  (Note that you cannot sign up for Leadership Focus or receive an account without first meeting with the Kentucky Credentials Team and being approved for the program.)
